LEA Graduate Profile: Chris Jordan

Chris Jordan has been spending his spring, summer, and fall months in Alaska for the past two years where he flies as a Utility Pilot for Pollux Aviation. Born in raised in Bend, Oregon, Chris was looking for a new career when he took his first demo flight at Leading Edge Aviation. He immediately signed up for ground school and, after working hard for a year, Chris was hired on with LEA as a flight instructor. Soon after, he was asked to start the morning traffic-reporting program with News Talk KBND in Bend’s first news helicopter! In the fall of 2009 Chris transitioned into the Bell Jet Ranger and Long Ranger and began flying tours and 135 operations for LEA in South Lake Tahoe. “The experience and opportunities that I acquired through Leading Edge have given me the necessary tools to get where I am today,” says Chris. “Central Oregon has to be one of the best training and living environments in flight school history!” At Leading Edge Aviation we’re proud to call Chris one of our own and look forward to hearing more about his exciting career in the years to come!
